Science fiction is my favorite genre, and Disney is a popular brand that fan artists love making artwork for. It is amazing how creative designers can be with birthday cards, event flyers, posters, art cards, and so much more. Today’s font selection focuses on huge science fiction brands by Disney. Enjoy!
Tron
Tron was one of my favorite movies of all time as a child. For me, this movie had everything – science fiction, video games, computers, virtual reality, and striking visuals. Tron and The Last Starfighter are one of cinema’s earliest films to use extensive computer-generated imagery (a mainstream term now referred to as simply CGI). Tron was ahead of its time and followed by a lackluster sequel thirty years later: Tron Legacy. Renewed interest in the brand reemerged due to the Tron coaster at Disney World. Lilo & Stitch
Lilo & Stitch is a science fiction animation by Disney that takes place in Hawaii. What a pretty fantastic combination. The movie revolves around two characters: a Hawaiian girl named Lilo, raised by her older sister after their parent’s deaths, and an extraterrestrial creature called Experiment 626, who is adopted by Lilo as her “dog” and renamed “Stitch.” Stitch, genetically engineered to cause chaos, initially uses Lilo to avoid recapture by the intergalactic federation. Still, the two characters bond through the Hawaiian concept of ʻohana, or extended family, compelling Stitch to rethink his intended destructive purpose to keep his newfound family. WALL-E
WALL-E is a computer-animated science fiction film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. The film follows a solitary robot on a future, uninhabitable, abandoned Earth in 2805. Another robot, EVE, is sent to Earth by the starship Axiom as a probe. Wall-e falls in love with Axiom and pursues her across the galaxy. As a huge science fiction fan, I love when writers explore the gray area where AI may possibly become sentient or conscious. Big Hero 6
Based on Marvel comics of the same name, Big Hero 6 tells the story of Hiro Hamada, a young robotics prodigy, and Baymax, his late brother Tadashi’s healthcare-provider robot. The two form a superhero team to battle a frightening villain responsible for Tadashi’s death. Similar to the movie WALL-E, the audience must discern if Baymax is sentient due to his empathy and human characteristics. Download this Big Hero 6 font at Fonts4free.net.
Guardians of the Galaxy
Technically, Guardians of the Galaxy should be a Marvel font, but Disney still owns it. For me, GOTG is the modern-day version of what Star Wars 7 and beyond should have been. In my opinion, James Gunn’s vision catipulted the MCU, and he will be missed. Directed by James Gunn, who wrote the screenplay with Nicole Perlman, GOTG features an ensemble cast including Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, and Bradley Cooper as the titular Guardians.
