Updated: May 20th 2015 – We still use 110# cover for postcards, small posters, rackcards, bookmarks, tickets and art prints. For business cards, appointment cards, flat cards, invites and notecards, we only use a even heavier 130# 16pt gloss or 120# 16pt matte card stock facilitating an excellent durable feel that is sure to impress.
Updated: January 21st 2014 – A few years ago, we updated our gloss card stock used primarily for postcards, rack cards, invitations and flat cards from 100# to 110# card stocks ensuring a more durable and mailable card. These cards were a huge upgrade in a realm where we fight to be the cheapest printed on the web.
Being a cheap printing company does not mean we provide low quality prints – which is why upgrading to a more durable card stock was very important to us. We are currently experimenting with 130# card stocks, UV coating and 12pt-14pt stocks now that our purchasing power and bulk rates have improved tremendously. We carefully select the proper paper types for each product to help customers attain the best prices. For instance, we felt invitations deserved the thickest possible card media (that our digital presses can handle) since they are generally a more luxurious print type than items such as thick flyers and posters. Our thick flyers can be printed on wonderful card stocks, but using inviation card stocks would be overkill and make little econimcal sense.
