UPDATE: In 2014, Foursquare launched Swarm dividing it’s many features into two separate apps. We never understood this move and didn’t see the need to participate in either network any longer. If Swarm picks up in popularity, we may give it a try. As the original check-in social network, Foursquare moved the check-in and gaming aspects (the fun stuff) to Swarm. I never quite understood

October 2013 – 54 badges later, Foursquare has pretty much become a destination for PrintKEG founder, Chris, and production manager, Bill, to harass and steal mayorships from each other. Seriously, we’ve connected with over 700 people through this check-in social network. High five!

What is Foursquare?

Foursquare is now a local search and discovery service mobile app which provides a personalized local search experience for its users. By taking into account the places a user goes, the things they have told the app that they like, and the other users whose advice they trust, Foursquare aims to provide highly personalized recommendations of the best places to go around a user’s current location.
