We love visiting comic conventions or fan expos, especially artist alleys. Of course, I love buying nerdy collectibles, snatching autographs, or meeting celebrities. The most brilliant aspect of these conventions is the community. When you enter any geek convention, it is incredible to witness how people of all races, gender, religion, ethnicity, age, and political belief blend together for pure geeky awesomeness. Here is a list of the top 10 Comic Conventions in the USA.
10. Florida Supercon
Held annually in Miami, Florida, Florida Supercon is one of the largest comic conventions in the Southeast. It typically attracts over 50,000 attendees and features a rich schedule, including panels, screenings, and special events/signings with creators, actors, and celebrities. There are many things to do at Florida Supercon, no matter what you’re into! The list includes artist alleys, after-dark activities, cosplaying, a gaming zone, drawing workshops for kids, and so much more.
9. Fan Expo Denver
Held annually in Denver, Colorado, Fan Expo Denver, formerly Denver Pop Culture Con and Denver Comic Con, is one of the largest comic conventions in the Rocky Mountain region. The massive three-day convention attracts over 100,000 attendees. The convention includes celebrity panels, seminars with professional creators and actors, visiting artists, workshops with comic book professionals, and the Reel Heroes Independent Filmmakers Series. Elements of the convention floor comprise celebrity autographs, large areas like “Artist Valley” and “Celebrity Summit,” comic book dealers and collectibles merchants, and fan-based cosplayer groups like the 501st Legion.
8. Fan Expo Boston
Fan Expo Boston, formerly Boston Comic Con, is a multigenre convention held annually in Boston, Massachusetts. The event is one of the largest comic conventions on the East Coast. Primarily focused on comic books, FEB features media guests from film and television, cosplayers, an art auction, a tabletop/CCG/RPG gaming room, and an annual costume contest. 7. Fan Expo Dallas
Formerly known as Dallas Comic Con (or DCC for short), Fan Expo Dallas is a three-day event and one of the largest comic conventions in the Southwest. The fun-filled “fan culture” event typically attracts more than 60,000 attendees. It features a wide range of family-friendly attractions, world-renowned celebrity panels, question and answer sessions, autograph sessions, a vast artist alley, and many special events from comics, anime, and gaming.

Held annually at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia, ATL Comic Con is one of the largest comic conventions in the Southeast. ATL Comic Con typically attracts over 90,000 attendees. C2E2 Crown Championships of Cosplay claims to be the world’s largest and most prestigious cosplay competition.

The three-day convention typically attracts over 90,000 attendees and features an expansive range of nerdiness, including a colossal artist alley, screenings, and exhibitions with creators, actors, and other celebrities from comics, film, anime, television, and gaming.
