Don’t forget your Mother’s Day cards! Buying your card at a local store can get pretty pricy – especially when you have more than just mom to buy for; wife, grandmother, sister, friend, etc. I end up walking out with six Mother’s Day cards each year, and the cards are nothing special. I couldn’t even tell you a week later what the card read since most only include a generic poem or a funny joke. There is also nothing like seeing duplicate Mother’s Day cards sitting on the mantle. Something a little artsy, a little cut, is an easy way to go. No cheesy poems or vulgar jokes here! It’s all for you to personalize. Usually coming with a creative front and the inside blank, you are able to write from your heart. Don’t Forget About Grandma!
Can’t forget your Momma’s Momma! She is the original mother, so we have to get a nice card for Grandma. Mother’s Day cards can be a little tricky for a grandmother and some people have a Nana or a Grammy or a Mimi, etc. There are so many names a grandmother can be called that trying to find a card from the store can become a headache. Since a majority of the cards on Etsy are customizable, you can switch out the generic “Grandma” for “Nana.”
Don’t settle for what everyone else is doing this year when picking out a Mother’s Day card. Make it a little more personal by telling mom what YOU mean.
